With the release of Melanie's, already, 4th Album, This Time, we can for no doubt expect a set of new concerts. Probably even a small European promotional tour!
So keep your eyes glued to this page!

As all of you know, you could join the competition on the official website of Melanie C to win tickets to watch the first ever live dvd being filmed... Lots of you have won, but what happens if you have noone to take with you (to give your 2nd ticket to)? Or what happens if you really badly want to go, but didn't win?

That's why we'll use this site to try to fix everyone up with someone to go! Please take a moment to sign up your name, even if you have someone to take. It's always nice to see who you will meet at the concert!

Registration to the German gigs is now open. If you're going to any of the concerts, please register to the corresponding one :) When clicking on fan listing you'll be able to see a list of all the people who'll also be going. When clicking on details, you'll also be able to see their email address, so you can get to know other fans better and you'll have more fun while queueing. Don't forget to also submit your picture and to RENAME it to your OWN name first. Please note that most of the MENU above is inactive and will be renewed soon, the RGA FORUMS will open again also...

Today, Better Alone was released on MELANIEC.NET only though! So go & check it out! I made all the new concerts active, so if you're going to one of them, don't forget to register. Also, if you've been to the lovely tienen concert, be sure to sign up to it ;) I only need to update the menu above, and then the site is set for a whole need series of tours!

As you can see I've cleaned up the page a bit, dates have now been added. The previous concerts, the ones where fans still registered, will be restored and in the concert archive soon. Please register if you're going to one of the gigs on the page & submit your picture. That way you can print the list before you leave and you'll know who is who ;).

Ukraine Gig Re-scheduled!

We're pleased to announce that the Ukraine gig originally planned for 2nd December 2004 has now been rescheduled.
The show will now take place on Tuesday 7th June at Ukrayina Palace, Kiev! This is the first time Melanie has been to the country and will be playing a mix of new and old material with her new band! All tickets bought for the previous date will still be valid.

Melanie is excited to announce that she'll be back on tour in the UK in April 2005. The shows kick off at the Carling Academy 2 in Liverpool on Friday 15th April and take in Birmingham, Sheffield, Bristol, London, Manchester and Aberdeen. Tickets are £15 each and go on general sale on Saturday 29th January but we'll be providing you with a special pre-sale link right here tomorrow morning (28/1/05) at 10am! More dates will be revealed shortly but the confirmed gigs so far are:

All shows are standing except Shepherds Bush Empire which is stalls & balcony. Unfortunately seats cannot be pre-assign on the balcony.** Pre-sale tickets for the the Aberdeen gig will be available by telephone only.

You'll notice that you can't see the list of people who went to the Islington gig at the moment.. that is because I'm tidying everything on the server to avoid confusion in the future. We've just had it confirmed that Melanie will be heading to the Ukraine on Thursday 2nd December 2004 to play a one-off gig at Ukrayina Palace, Kiev! This is the first time Melanie has been to the country and can't wait to showcase some of her new material and show off the new band. Ticket information will be announced nearer the time.

Waw, what a gig! I'm sure if you either went or heard the bootleg you will have loved it. I'm glad Melanie got the great response from the press, which she indeed deserved. I'm sure you all had the chance to download Marc's Lovely Bootleg on Den Den, there are also some nice small video clips circulating the Internet, amongst the ones on my site, check the exclusive page to download some nice videos. Soon on Melanie C Online will be my bootleg of the gig, in very good quality, to have a little listen, you can already download the clip on the main page. The site wasn't completed in the end, by which I mean the bootleg & gallery page, but next time everything will be ;).

What will happen to this site?
No, it will not be closing as yet. I will rebuild it into a site, more general for Melanie C's future gigs & there will be an archive of everyone who went to the previous gigs. There'll also be a mailing list on which you can register, you'll be notified when there's more news about a possible new Concert of Melanie C. The next version of this site, will be perfectionized, e.g. you will be required to add your picture at the same time of registering, that way everyone will have added their picture and many more features as such...

RedGirl Academy & Melanie C Online send their deepest sympathy to the family of the 11/09 victims.

All the problems on my computer and on the Melanie C Online server have been fixed.
A new and important page to the site is the "Venue Information page", you'll find info on how to reach the venue, which transport you can use and other usefull info.

You'll see some changes to the site such as the menu bar... certain sections are obviously not online yet, such as "Gallery", "Bootlegs" and "Extra". All the other features that were on this index page, you'll find in the menu. Keep an eye on this page next week, as there'll be lots of updates. Hopefully, there'll be a few bootlegs (at least one) and loads of photos. If you'd like to submit photo's to the site, you will be able to do so as I'll be adding an upload page very soon. You'll also be able to add your review of the gig to the site.

I'm back from holiday and feel ready to continue the work on this site. Today I'll start working on the members only section, which will require your username and password to log in to. Thanks everyone that registered, so far 73 people signed up here. The Islington venue is big enough to fit 800 people, so hopefully more fans will register the coming weeks. Today I'll also find out if I can go or not, fingers crossed :D.

Hey there,
I'm Ben, webmaster of Melanie C Online. I once created the Astoria site for Melanie C's gig in December.
After the great responce of this site, I decided I'd make another concert site for our Red Girl's gig in September.

Why?
At concerts it's always nice that you recognise the people you meet in the queue. So with the help of the new database knowledge I've learnt, I'd like to make a huge fanbase for the next concert. If again, this site has success, I'll try to do the same for every next concert.
